		<description>I have found that writing descriptions of my hikes has also helped improve my trail memory.   Mentally going through the hike at the end of the day,  and commiting it to paper forces me to resolve some of the discrepancies in my mind,  and leaves me with a more accurate memory of the trail. It is good practice, in my opinion, to carry a small notebook,  and use it at the end of the day</description>
