Glamping came into the limelight about a year ago, but it has been growing exponentially. There is definitely not a slowdown, in fact prices are going up to slow down the pace of wealthy glampers looking for something new and different.
Check out the blog at www.wildretreatblog.com to see exactly what glamping is all about from Clayoquot Wilderness Resort- who have been in business since 2000 and have almost doubled business every year since opening.

Glamping is here to stay. What we are seeing is the widespread acceptance of the idea of glamping from consumers. Consumers are buying luxury items to take with them on their camping excursions in order to 'glamp them up'. And I'm all for it. But I have to agree with Roy, that is a pretty sad list- I'd still call that camping- or maybe Samping- 'sad camping'.

Haha! I say that article yesterday - holy cow, he's scraping the bottom of the barrel with that list (Camp Chef aside, of course).
