The GeekHiker apparently hit up Paramount Ranch over the weekend (although not with the group trip that was headed there from downtown), and posted a write-up, as well as a few great photos on Flickr.
It looks like an excellent example of the coastal meadows and oak and sycamore forests that dot the Santa Monica Mountains … except you also get the added benefit of some still-sanding movie and TV sets every once in a while. Could be worth the trip if this week’s storm leaves you snowed out of those bigger mountains in the San Gabriels.
