For about half an hour on Thursday night the rain was absolutely torrential. Streets stayed pretty clean but I'm sure we're going to get some sizeable chunks running down our hilly streets. I think it'd be a matter of just getting through those few streaks of rain that LA has... though I know that plants can't grow THAT quickly.
