Into the Mind is a forthcoming nature documentary from Sherpas Cinema that features a ton of outdoor athletes performing in their element. The first teaser trailer went up this week, and the film looks gorgeous – kind of like a new Baraka with fewer chicken factories and more near-vertical helicopter skiing.
Even if, like me, you don’t have the necessary balance to enjoy any snow-sport that has you traveling faster than you would while hiking, the cinematography in this trailer is pretty amazing and you’ll at least gasp watching what other people can do in the snow. And if not, it’s at the very least great nature porn to get you excited for the weekend.
He has also been featured on Good Morning America, NPR, and the Associated Press, as well as in documentaries for Columbia Sportswear and the OTIS College of Art and Design.
Casey was one of eight people chosen by the National Parks Foundation to participate in the 2015 Find Your Park Expedition. His first book "Day Hiking Los Angeles," will be published by Mountaineers Books in 2016.
