When the weather starts heating up in SoCal, what trails cool you off?

The trail to Dawn Mine is a great summer trail as long as there aren't any bees.  Lots of shade and some water crossings.

At the top of Lake in Pasadena, near Echo mountain is another trail…on the shorter side, but lots of shade.  Instead of following the trail to Echo Mountain, veer off to the left and head up near what looks like a round covered water basin.  When you get there, you will see a trail that leads to the right down into the ravine.  You can see the trail to Echo Mountian on the opposite side of this ravine.  This trail has a lot of water crossings and tons of shade.  You end up at some old mine shafts before you have to turn around.
